The Doors of Santa Fe

January 19, 2017.

I love doors.  And doorways.  And windows.  Not like I'm some kind of weird freak who peeks into doors and windows, ya'll, I just love the thought that goes into the creation of them and the people who pass through them.  I feel they're the most important part of a home and they should be treated with great respect.  Opening a doorway always leads to something new:  looking ahead:
an unknown view, an interesting person, a fresh smile.
Looking back, you feel a historic memory, moments of expectation,
the warmth of people who have passed through here before.

The doors of Santa Fe
reveal the multicultural blend of peoples in this city.
Spanish, Native Indian, Mexican and Anglo:

And there are windows, too.  The voyeur's eye to the world.
(That's Zu reflected in the glass panes):

Old, new, we're all tied together.

Doorways welcome us:

The doors of Santa Fe have been most welcoming to us.
